Progress of the “Baroque Park Complex” project
Without obstacles, despite the difficult situation in the region due to the COVID-19 pandemic, work is progressing on the project to revitalise the Bishops’ Gardens.
The landscaping works are currently concentrating on the surfacing of the alleyways and earthworks. The mineral paths are now complete, while the stone and cobblestone surfaces have so far been completed in 30%. The site is also being cleared and the groundwork done, including levelling, ploughing and removal of soil. At the same time, work is underway on the historic building included in the project, located in the park - the Cart House. Renovation works are progressing, the damp proofing of the walls has been done.
In August, a representative of the Pomeranian Province Monument Conservator came to Pelplin. The works carried out so far have been assessed without any objections.
